Launching & Pricing

Nothing Phone (2) launched globally on July 11, 2023, and everyone was excited to figure out more about its features which were the talk of the time long before. Nothing was announced that Phone 2 will be officially launched in the US and available publicly from 17th July on wards. Phone 2 will be available in markets at the price of $599 for the base variant of the model. So the price in Pakistan for Nothing Phone 2 is Rs. 166,999 and 44,999 Indian rupees in India.

Design & Display

Nothing Phone 2's design has no prominent changes as compared to Phone 1 by keeping in mind building a brand identity with the same iconic design of Nothing phones. Phone 2 has a premium feel due to its slimmer frame and rounded back of glass. Phone 2 front and back protected by Gorilla Glass is scratch resistant and identical borders with a selfie camera in the center prove it to be an outstanding display. Nothing Phone 2 has a 6.7" flexible OLED display with LTPO having a refresh rate of 120Hz and brightness up to 1600 nits. Phone 2 has two colors variants white and grey.

 

 

Glyph Interface

On the back of Nothing Phones, a 3D glass of Glyph Interface is the main highlight. The Glyph back of Phone 2 has more functionality as compared to Phone 1 due to more LED zones. Glyph lights are used as volume indicators, The Glyph Timer, Essential Notifications alert and Glyph Composer for customized ringtones.

Battery & Space

Nothing Phone 2 has a huge battery capacity of 4700mAh with support of 45W fast charging. 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging support is the same as Phone 1.

Nothing Phone 2 has 3 options depending upon its RAM & ROM, first we have the option of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. Other variants are 12GB RAM but 256/512GB space.

 

Processor

Nothing Phone 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC which gives an 80% increased performance as compared to the 7 series processor of Phone 1. This smartphone is Android 13 with Nothing's operating system as Nothing OS which gives its unique interface on the software side.

Camera

Nothing Phone 2 has a dual camera module of 50MP having black bezels contrasting with the phone's colour. The main camera has 50MP, Sony IMX890 sensor, f/1.88 aperture and 1/1.56" sensor size while the front camera has 32MP, Sony IMX615 sensor, f/2.45 aperture and 1/2.74" sensor size. Videos are recorded at 4k @60fps with a Rear camera & 1080 pixels @60fps on selfie side. This combination of cameras with advanced HDR gives Nothing Phone 2 to capture high dynamic range pictures & advanced motion-detecting algorithm gives more accurate results on the photography side.
