Expected Price & Launch
Samsung is
going to announce its Foldable Smartphones in an Event scheduled on 26 July
2023 and is expected to have improved features in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold
5. Earlier it was rumored to be slightly higher priced than Galaxy Z
Fold 4 but recent leaks proved it to be a costly device. The expected price
of Galaxy Z Fold 5 is $1799 in the USA, and Rs. 424,000 in Pakistan
while its expected price will be 165,000 Indian rupees in India.
Design & Display
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5's leaked images show that it
has the same design as the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with some pleasant
modifications. Galaxy Z Fold 5 will come with a new droplet hinge which
makes it possible to have zero gaps when folded but the crease is still visible
despite a zero gap hinge. This smartphone will have a glass front on the folded
side and a plastic front on the unfolded side of the Aluminium frame body while
Gorilla Glass Victus+ is there in the glass back of the phone.
Galaxy
Z Fold 5 has
a 7.6" foldable dynamic AMOLED display on the inner side
with a resolution of 1812×2176 and ~373 PPI while the cover display of 6.2"
AMOLED has a resolution of 904×2316. Moreover, some leaks refer to this
phone as having an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. This
foldable phone will be available in three colour variations of Beige, Black
& Light Blue.
Storage & Battery
Galaxy Z Fold 5 will come with 12GB RAM and 256/512GB
storage of UFS 4.0, & has 1 TB built-in. It means this device
is sufficient for storing large amounts of data without any interruption.
Galaxy Z Fold 5 is powered by a Li-Po non-removable
battery of 4400mAh with 25W wired fast charging having support of
wireless and reverse wireless charging.
Processor
Galaxy
Z Fold 5 is
an Android 13 operating system with One UI which gives this
device its unique interface. Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a good processor of Qualcomm
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC which gives this foldable phone a good rating on the
performance indicator.
Camera
Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to have a triple-camera
set-up on the Rear side which is the same as Fold 4. A 50MP
of the Main lens, 12MP of Ultrawide lens and 12MP Telephoto with 3x
optical zoom are expected according to leaked sources. A selfie camera of 12MP
on the cover display & 4MP under the display makes Fold 5
below the average device given the selfie experience.
